Reviewing his options? Should we try again or just accept he wouldn't want to come to us.

Forget it. He wasn't interested when we had the good Payet and were in the europa, so he certainly won't come now.

Just think the bloke is too good for us and there won't be a shortage of quality clubs after him, who can offer European football and more wedge.
He doesn't want to join us anyway.

Too good for us! Really? Like Batshuyi all hop and, in reality, not all that. Wait and see, this bloke will flop where ever he goes.

So, you would not want another Payet? Strange.

I'll accept another Payet as long as he's had the snip.

Id love to say forget it
But quality strikers seem in short demand these days so if he his ready to leave we'd be silly to not go for him
Somehow think somone a level above us will be his destination

I would guess the price would be north of 40m, maybe way north! I just don't believe we should be paying those sort of prices, it would be a reckless gamble.

Far, the issue was our owners gave Payet the opportunity to move through broken promises. He may have gone anyway but not backing nuo ntheir talk gave him wiggle room. You have your Snodgrass (Dives every other time he has the ball) while I'll always prefer Payet.

We got to stop these crazy wastes of time - go for a player we can get rather than one that will only move to a team who are in the Champions League - until we are in the Champions League we are a big step away from this player!!!

I still think a fee like £20m fee is quite a reckless outlay for a club like us. I know all fans want to see that sort of money spent, and clubs are willing to gamble for success, but I just don't believe it's a sensible approach.

The French:
Alright, Payet was great for one year
Amalfitano, a bit moody
Faubert, shovel foot
Archie Schemmel, great for one year, then turned to shit
Have I missed anyone?

Re: Lacazette

I know the French league isn't brilliant, but I don't think I've ever watched a game where the bloke hasn't scored.
With better players behind him he'd smash them in and I think he's going at a goal a game this season.
